Summary:
The Pack and Shipping Lead will assist with the packing and shipping of products, lead shift packing teams, and communicate with other shift leads.
Supervisory
Responsibilities:
Could have up to 16 reports Duties/
Responsibilities:
Follow all safety rules and regulations, all work must be done thinking Safety First.
Plan and coordinate, on a daily basis, shift packing teams plan of execution.
Plan and coordinate, on a daily basis, the most effective pack team organization and work arrangement.
Manage and ensure all work orders are complete and accurate once they are brought to shipping.
Maintain neat and accurate shipping records including all daily logs.
Provide an emphasis on safety.
Drive the vision and culture of our company in order to deliver great customer service.
Develop employees by ensuring proper training and providing ongoing feedback and coaching.
Ensure all company policy and procedures are followed by self and all employees.
Participate and lead in assigned work projects Required Skills/Abilities:
Good organizational skills and attention to detail.
Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite and/or inventory software to maintain records, input data, and create reports.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills Ability to manage people effectively Strong organizational and project management skills with attention to detail Excellent time management, problem solving and organizational skills Excellent planning and organization skills including the ability to support and prioritize multiple projects or opposing priorities Ability to learn quickly in a new environment and hit the ground running Smart, fun, and resourceful with professional demeanor Ability to work well with individuals and teams both inside and outside the company Education and
Experience:
High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
Physical Requirements:
Must be able to lift up to 25 pounds at a time.
Must be able to work in a variety of weather conditions and temperatures in the warehouse and on the loading dock.
